Golf / Olympic Games

Golf was reinstated as an Olympic sport in Rio de Janeiro 2016 after being contested in Paris 1900 and St. Louis 1904. In those first two editions, there were a total of four events, where USA won three golds and Canada one, Great Britain won one silver and one bronze, and the USA added all the other medals. The women's competition in 1900 was one of the first female events in the history of the Olympic Games.
